Have you got what it takes to become a Stevenage Driving School Instructor?
Can you answer “yes” to all the questions below?
- Have you held a full UK or EU licence for 3.5 out of the last 6 years?
- Can you read a normal size number plate from 27.5 meters (90ft)?
- Have you less than 6 penalty points on your licence?
- Are you free from any offence committed in the last 10 years that might prevent you from becoming a driving instructor, i.e. assault, robbery etc. (Are you a fit and proper person)
- Do you enjoy working with people?
- Are you 21 or older?
If you can answer ”yes” to all of the above questions then you are eligible to become a driving instructor. All you have to do now is to call me, or email, for information about the various training programs which Stevenage Driving School offer.

There is a mandatory time limit of 2 years from the time you pass Part 1 to completing the entire three part course (allowing only three attempts at parts 2 and 3). Your enthusiasm and our experience should have you fully trained as a qualified and reliable driving instructor long before this.
